Site Preparation For Recreational Log Cabins

We recommend a level gravel area 2' larger than cabin. Example a 14' x 36' cabin requires a 16' x 38'.

Site must be within 1-2" of perfectly level. SITES MORE THAN 2" OFF LEVEL VOIDS ALL WARRANTIES.

Delivery of Recreational Cabins

Recreational cabins are delivered with a truck and trailer and are unloaded with trailer that tilt back similar to storage shed deliveries. Single wides can be delivered up to 40' long. Double wides are limited to 28' long.

Access area for Plumbing

Log Cabins on a stone or concrete pad with plumbing in it will need an access pit for water and sewer connections. Pit can be approximate. 3' x 6' and 3' deep, with half the pit under the cabin and half outside the cabin. The sewer and water can be brought into this pit allowing access for a man hole to go under and make connections. The location of this access varies for each floor plan. Since it's 3' deep or below the frost level in your area the ground temperature should keep pipes from freezing.

Interior of cabin is available with pine walls and ceiling.

Pine Floors

Pine tongue and groove floors are standard on the finished cabins.

Single wides as Certified homes

Most of the single wide recreational cabins can be upgraded to certified cabins for about $4,000 -$6,000 depending on the style. Single wide cabins can also be set on foundation similar to our double wide cabins (upgrade to 2x10 floor joist required). Single wides set on foundation require a crane.
